Welcome Students, Parents and Community Members!

The school counselor works to help students be successful by providing academic, personal, career and college counseling by implementing and developing programs that continuously improve communication, support, and professional development.

Students can make an appointment with the counselor to speak about any concerns they may have or to discuss future plans.  Below are examples of services that are provided by the counselor:

  • Academic Interventions
  • Personal/Social/Emotional Counseling
  • High School Orientation
  • College Orientation (CCC, College Tours, etc.)
  • 5th Year Senior Advisory (during student's 13th year at CEC)
  • Scheduling (high school and college)
  • Goal Setting
  • Scholarships
  • 504 Coordinator
  • Community resources (can help you get linked with services)
  • Stress management
